but it would be a showdown if you called, he wouldnt have the opportunity to reraise you
if you think he either bluffs or has you beat, then a) you allin, he calls with hand that beat you and folds bluffs. b) you call, he wins with hands that beat you and loses with bluffs
going allin would be good if you had him on a 10, jj, qq or kk and thought he would call with those hands. if you think he's bluffing, it doesn't gain you any more money when he's bluffing and loses you an extra 8 when he's got you beat.

if you put somebody on a bluff the right play is to raise if you are 100% sure

Dont fool around with shortstacks preflop ... put his dumbass allin. he is not allowed to raise on your table without a good hand: vital[Myth]
