i am convinced i should've folded because he could've had the 9 of spades or the A of spades, 2 cards in the deck that beat me and chances are he has one of them when he goes all in on that river
what have i done to deserve this seriously i was up very nicely before this fuckin bullshit awoit29ut2

he's not going all in with just an ace when it's one card to the flush and he's probably not goign to go in with a lower flush card like 8 or 7, i'm starting to think maybe i should've seriously folded here there is no possible hand i could ever put him on here
he can't have a king, QJ QT JT know that i got them completely raped when i reraise preflop, should i have seriously just folded here? the only thing i can beat is a weak flush that's not A of spades or 9 of spades a straight and some 2pair or full house
well i guess the full house is possible but still

obv. royal
just fold
you CAN fold quads if you can SEE that your opponent has a royal flush. you basically could see it, it was right here...
ipokeder: bets $1.20
BigCasher1: raises $13.75 to $14.95 and is all-in
let it go yo
saving money on bets like this is extremely important. if you save yourself in 4 of these situations per week, that's $40-$50 per week you don't get set back. making correct laydowns, no matter how good your hand is, is an extremely important skill and it should be the focus of a lot of your attention.
by this i don't mean be weak/tight. just lay it down when it's obvious you're beaten. |

that said, raise more preflop (like to $1.50), and pot the flop and turn. if he only had the As he would have had odds (from his perspective) to call both your flop and your turn bets.
you have to make big bets at these stakes. you'll get paid off. plus when people are more likely to fold, you make lower-variance plays. i'd rather win at a rate of 5BB/100 with low variance than 5BB/100 with high variance, personally. |

i guess that's my biggest problem, it seems i get so many good hands and i win so many pots but i very often end up where i started, probobly i should fold more O,.Oa |

well to me the flop would be really scary for him unless he was holding a very strong hand or flopped a straight, but on the turn when i made quads, i figured i had the deck crippled and he would be hating his hand once the kings paired, so i thought i was milking him.
i think you're right though, having quads on a board like this should be played like having a queen high flush on a board where the river makes it 4 cards to the flush and your opponent goes all in, 2 possible cards that beat you and not worth it to see
i dunno though it just makes me fuckin sick -.- |

has anyone else folded quads before? i seriously don't know if i could do it if i got in this situation again. maybe i'm just an idiot but JJ, QQ, TT, AA, random ace, i don't know man. maybe i would, i don't know. maybe he was trying to bluff me, i don't know
i don't know if i could lay this down if i played this hand again |
