Would not have called the flop, would have re-raised large.

Why are you just calling on such a scary flop? You walked straight into this one! lol.

Um, why? You almost certainly have the best hand there, except for idiots calling with KQ. Bet it out hard, because when you wait until paired board, it's too late here.. lol.

All I'm saying, is why would he bet 2x the pot if he HAD the straight? He doesn't wanna scare you out, he'd want to keep you in. Him betting that strongly makes me think he wants you out, and he isn't strong.

Easy to give advice based on what you clearly should've done too. Reraise flop 100%.

Stop posting the results then. If you really think he has a straight, do you think you have the odds to draw to board pairing? Do you intend to fold the river if the board doesn't pair? What if your opponent only has two pair like AJ? Maybe AQ on turn, maybe AK after you just called 2x potsize bet on flop?

Notice that after the turn call, you have 2 queen outs, 3 ace outs, 3 outs and 1 ten out. That totals 9 outs which means you have a 4-to-1 shot of winning. You have to win at least $20 more of him on the river if the board does pair to break even. He has total $32 more, so there should be no problem if you can stack him though, but one might think that the few times he has AJ/AQ/QJ, might make the call -EV (since it's less outs for you to pair the board if you're going to fold the river).

And if you're not going to fold the river when it's essentially all-in, why let gutshot and flushdraw draw out on ye.
