no...I win so many huge pots with this hand especially on partypoker and usually I win the blinds + he did not have an ace I think therefore could have taken this from KK QQ maybe his preflop re-raise was too big to call but I was in position. He'd fold with the ace on board for sure and I have the gutshot for backup even though 4 outs is crap. Id rather be in position but im definitely not folding.

terrible reraise call, you pretty much just freely relinquish 6$ to the guy. playing HU with a 6 high... clearly a fish overvaluing suited connectors. EARTH TO NOOBIES, JUST CUZ DOYLE BRUNSON SAYS PLAY SUITED CONNECTORS DOESNT MEAN YOU GO CRAZY WITH THEM.

god...

this is 50nl partypoker its equivalent to like 10nl on stars, there was 12 in the pot 6 to me not great odds I know but I like the fact that I have position, I have a solid read, and I will get paid off if I hit a good flop. I am paying 6 bucks for that. Not to mention this pot definitely could have been mine I am pretty sure he had QQ or KK and his oop check indicates that unless he was slowplaying AA I am in a good position to take the pot.

how come you guys can never just argue points and just assume I am going to agree with you because you play higher stakes than me? I know I didnt have good odds to call his re-raise in the strictly mathematical sense. Let your ego down and tell me why, I am willing to learn but id rather have an actual reason yknow?

$10nl PS = $50nl PP.. So? Even more reason to not bother fucking around with scs from early position.... I know for a fact (first hand experiance ) that you can just nut peddle and seriously you will not win money doing this in the long run. Being heads up after that action with 65s sucks, especially if you're not even going to play them properly...

Whats my chance of outflopping QQ/KK/AA or flopping 14+ outs, combined?

Catul   France. Apr 07 2006 04:00. Posts 1460

about 23%, and that's not to flop 14+ outs, just 9/8 outs draws

Sometimes nothing can be a real cool hand.Last edit: 07/04/2006 04:00

I think thats just my % chance to win the showdown. How is this any different than calling with JJ or QQ for set value if you are pretty sure your against KK/AA. Thats like a 15% chance isnt it?

If you're talking about 14+ (combo) draws only your chance must be only 8-9%

Sometimes nothing can be a real cool hand.

Im pretty sure my combined chance of flopping either two pair, trips, or a combo draw is somewhere around 12% (including straights or flushes etc)

Lets say we both had 100 dollars in front of us would I have odds then?

Catul   France. Apr 07 2006 04:13. Posts 1460

I'm pretty sure you're wrong, and you actually have even less than I first thought (about 7%)

7% what, chance to flop a combo draw?

Catul   France. Apr 07 2006 04:24. Posts 1460

straight+flush draw, 2 pair, trips, straight, flush, full

Sometimes nothing can be a real cool hand.

so you're calling with shit hands when you think they have QQ/KK just so you can try and steal when and if an ace flops?

ARE YOU RETARDED?

does this mean you call with rags like 47o when QQ/KK put in large raises and reraises in hopes that if an ace falls, you can bluff them of their hand? this is the stupidest strategy ive ever heard
