Honestly alot short stacks do that w/ flush draws... so i figured if i hit i probably wouldn't win.

well if hes just got a higher flush draw and no pair you're not in bad shape, and you should call. hes kinda short stacked, so maybe consider a call depending on how aggressive he is.
