I think it was a good bluff, I put him on anything from 10s - KK I dont know if he was too stupid to fold or actually read my bluff. I was representing a set of 6s or 5s cuz on that flop thats probably how I would play a set (as long as I put him on overpair), then on the turn theres a possible straight and I had 15 outs for the river. He cant even beat A6 or A4 etc not that I would play those hands but...
25nl is lame. |

Of course I could have just called the turn but I tried to take advantage of his pathetically weak bet and I had position. oh well. |

Representing a set on those limits _DOES NOT_ work. They don't put you on stuff, they play their cards, not their opponents. |

yea I know but I gotta practice on these limits so im not risking like 80 on a river bet im only risking 16, not really the best practice though I guess I thought this guy was capable of folding |

what twisted said. being fancy at nl25 doesnt work.
risking $80 on a worthwhile bluff is better than risking $16 on a pointless one. |

i dont think it can be said that it was pointless, it was just less likely to work. I put him on the correct hand though and I figured he was better than your average 25nl player so I was either wrong or he read my bluff. but my question isnt whether nl25 players are bluffable my question is whether or not I represented a hand better than JJ. |
