Two things, the first is obvious the second may or may not be a good idea.
Raise to 5 on the turn, 2 is way too low. That is obvious.
Bet the river to get BigDfromMich to fold since he checked and showed weakness. I dont know if he would call or not and I guess this depends on your image. I might raise the flop just to get a good idea of what people have but thats optional, pair w/flush draw dominates alot of hands in a limped pot but this guy happened to have a straight. If you are only up against an overpair you have 14 outs which makes you slightly ahead. |

1) i wasnt worried about big.... because common sense says fold, yes i guess I should raise more.... but i was trying to induce str8
2) if he called down with 8's, im sure he isnt going to fold (i thought about betting, but i decided to save my bb's from the donk), that and I figgured he had a high club and was looking for the 4'th (a2 a4 something)
3) i was going to raise flop... but at this level + my dominant img..... people fold (of course, in this case not) |
