Well I knew he'd fold the river because experience says he 3bets the ace on the turn for stacks. |

Yeah I wanted a fold....why else would I post it if I wanted a call and didn't get one? It looks like shouldn't have made this play apparently.... |

I'm not a big fan of raising TPWK most of the time, so I called to see what the turn brought and what he'd do. On the turn he double popped and I wanted to see if he really had an ace if he came back at me like he would if he really had one, and if he didn't I could represent it on the river and take the pot down after he checked. I thought maybe if he even had a weak ace he could be scared of a better kicker on maybe even a 3 that I was slowpaying on the flop and raised into the ace (since he raised it pre), and even if that didn't work it would set up a nice pot later when I actually have a monster and take the same line like I usually do. This was half a set up hand for later as it was a bluff I thought would work. |

About the set up, even though he didn't get to see that I had that hand he'd be more curious the next time around, as would anyone who was paying attention, I would think. |

don't get too involved, he wanted a fold from every hand that beats his hand, obviously he doesn't get value from those that he beats |
