ugh. when a draw completes and someone bets the pot. i give it a lot of respect. i would probably call that turn bet and be very skeptical about calling a big bet on the river. the guy realizes the board is scary and you show a lot of strength on the flop. the best way to think of it is "if he's not afraid of it, he probably has it." This guy definitely does not seem to be concerned about you having the flush so logic would dictate he probably has it.

It's not good to just fold always however, as it is very exploitable. But against a none regular; When he bets the pot on the turn (actually i believe he bets MORE than the pot as lp.net counts the rake in the pot where FTP filters it out, so his $5 bet was probably into a pot of $4). Basically whenever there is a flush draw out there and someone overbets into me (esp. on the river) I give it a lot of respect. You might think "why would he bet so big wtih a flush" but you should really think "why is he betting so big if it's possible that I HAVE A FLUSH"

The answer is: because he knows you don't have it since he does.
