sometimes i'll fold right when the guy bets pot. you see; if he bets pot there and hes not the original raiser (note that he limp/called as well which represents usually low PP and suited connectors) it tells me he has a set or a baby flush and is looking to protect his hand. At best he probably has a straight flush draw / overs and a flush draw to which you have poor equity.
It might seem weird but I think open folding the flop to his PSB is best. You could possibly consider calling and re-evaluating on the turn but to me it seems pretty obvious that he is protecting a hand. |
