Posts 5070 you couldn't play this much worse. dunno about running bad though, that's a pretty good turn IMO !!1234 in fact every street is so bad. limping preflop in mid/late position with a hand as good as 88 is really bad, the c/r with 2 outs vs a likely ace (that nobody will fold) is really really bad, the check on the turn when you hit a miracle card and someone clearly as an ace that he will clearly not fold is pretty bad too. Posts 5070 well "maybe" you can, but you didn't accomplish that on the flop, does that mean you're going to double/triple barrel him here to try and make him fold an ace? seems a pretty bad strategy to me especially when you've only got 2 outs. you 100% have to be SOMETHING on the turn or you won't stack him cause there's a bit more than a pot sized bet left on the river and if he's weak tight he defo checks behind turn for pot control. even something donkish like half pot, but for god's sakes don't check.
