because you're basically turning your hand into a bluff, and it seems really unlikely that he's calling you with worse, and obviously 9's and higher pp's comprise the majority of his calling range, against which you have two outs? if you had 5x or flush draw (or even a nine, since you'd be ahead of a little bit more of his calling range) i'd like it better, but this play just kind of wreaks of "i don't want to play any more streets of poker with this hand, i hope this works out"
obviosuly you have ht ebest hand here a lot, but it doesn't matter because your hand is way ahead of his folding range but way behind his calling range, which is the only range against which your equity actually matters. pushing 88 and him folding garbage is the same as pushing K4 and him folding garbage, but pushing JTs and pushing 88 here are a lot different because JTs has a shitload of outs vs his callingr ange and 88 has usually 2 |

ya you have a point. I usually call here but it puts me in a gay spot cause I have no idea what turn is a scarecard. + i risk giving a free card and its hu so I have a monster so I just whatevershoved. |
