what should I have done differently?
I was thinking the guy had an Ace, but the Jack is a pretty high Kicker.
I didn't even waste a thought about a 6.
Was that just a bad beat? |

Bet 2$ on flop. By betting only one BB, u let him draw a free card which could beat your AJ. Since AJ is not a very strong hand on this flop. |

it's just that I couldn't tell he had a good hand from his play.
he flat called on the turn when he good the 3rd 6 and check/raised on the river.
I can't even say if it was well played by him. If I didn't have the A, I would have just checked on the river and he would have lost a significant amount of money. On the other hand, I was playing very offensive so he prolly figured I had the A and in the end it worked out.
I don't know, that hand just got me puzzled ~ |

i think you should've called his checkraise on the river instead of 4-betting, as i'd guess from that move that he had a full house (A3, A4, A6, 66, 33, 44) or maybe slowplayed AK
other than that this just looks like a bad beat, he just made a dumb flop call |
