What do you guys do in this situation? Do you take a shot at it on the flop then fold to action or just check fold?
Do you raise BB since you are UTG or ?

I would bet like $5-6 in THIS flop and fold to any raise. AA with no A on the flop and with 5 people in the hand, is never good... I would check/fold the turn if one of them bets hard |

- With 4 callers and you being first to act, it's definitely not horrible to check it and see the action behind you, especially since this flop is very very likely to have hit some of the callers very hard.
- "Do you raise 5x BB since you are UTG or ?" I haven't played full ring cash games in a million year, so I might be off, but I wouldn't vary the amount of my PFR depending on position. I would raise more depending on the average number of people seeing the flop. I don't want four callers each time I raise, even in a full ring nitfest. I would test the table with raises to 5/6 BBs (+1 per limper) to see how they react and stay consistent once I found the appropriate raise that gets me to the flop vs one or two opponents. |
