HEAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLS NO, you got the nut, no good draws for higher straight ... rainbow flop.... if the board doesn't pair or backdoor anything you cash big!!!! Even though you didn't have outs this is a must push situation

if you always go in with the worst hand youll never have a bad beat story

Daut    United States. Apr 15 2006 16:47. Posts 8955

i had the worst odds of the 4 hands of winning

the only good reason i can find for not folding is that it's not likely im being freerolled (J87 is an unlikely hand combo, 9987 is possible though)

One of the reasons why is that his opponents can EASILY have the same hand as well as a wrap to draw to a higher straight.

who are you talking about, "ALL"?

there are 3 people who replied, so i guess you mean all 3 of us, since if you meant 2 you would say both and if you meant 1 you would name them individually

all i said was 'wow nice pot'
tomson was clearly just making a joke because bigballs has been known to make frequent huge laydowns in the past
so you're only logically replying to donald with a general case statement about what is often the case, while he is arguing for why it is fine in this particular hand.

so.... wtf?

Ket stop being a pain in the ass. Maybe he's not talking about you or Tomson, whatever, his point stands. It's not like he's talking about _every single person_ that visits this site.

And for BigBalls I think we need Travis in here to give a decisive answer. But here's what I think. Three reasons why I think you should go for it with this hand. First is that there's no flush draw. Second is that at the moment where you have to make your decision you are still unsure about what some of them will do after you push (mostly bkilmer2, zTHEHULK, bkilmer nothing invested and thehulk has to call huge). Third is that only one of them is fullstacked and by the way he played we must conclude he doesn't have 78 with a higher draw.

If you had been last to act with all of them allin it would have been different. Maybe split hands with higher redraws are too good to make that call then. But even so your main read should always go out to THEHULK. If you don't think he has a straight a call becomes more interesting.

You almost twin-caracked his AK - JonnyCosmo

zTHEHULK had largest pot equity right? Top trips + backdoor diamond draw, BB had second best hand and the guy with KQJ had third, all equities seem relativley close though.. this seems like a slightly -ev play under the given circumstances. But not being an Omaha player myself I would push here too

I wouldnt play it like this thouh - I would call the $50 and see the turn if its safe then I would push, safe would be anything that :
Does not pair board, A, 2-5 but it seems like a scare card comes more than 2/3 of the time so I don't know if that's the optimal play here. Maybe I should read up on omaha seems like a fun game

thanks, i really like that deepstack reason. plus the lack of flush draw and i have a backdoor to one of the draws.
