ignore the result. my question is, how can i play this better? should i have been in this hand at all? i cant help but feel i got lucky and this play was -EV. thoughts? |

preflop forced in
flop, i like semi bluffing oop here. limped pot, not likely anybody is particularly strong, plus you have 12 pretty solid outs.
turn continuing aggression is fine, however, id bet more if you do, pot is nearly $4, you bet $1 into it. check calling is ok too.

i was trying to do kind of a blocking bet to get a cheap draw i guess (on the turn) at these limits i feel ppl will call a 1/4 pot sized bet or pot sized bet with the same strength of hands, so i like to save that extra money. not many ppl have raised me in that spot. |

the other guy played it terribly! First he limps, then he just calls 75 cents with top two pair... unbelievable - he was asking for it all along. And when he finally got worried he raised 1 dollar to 2! |
