Just wondering if I played this right.....I thought the KK guy played this like crap...afterwards he kept insulting me saying I played this bad. He's been betting preflop often, so I put him on a weak K, maybe less. I don't understand why he checked the river if he 'knew he had the best hand' after I called his 'huge' turn bet. Why wouldn't he bet river if I showed strength on turn?

Who knows what fish think or what goes inside their minds.
I think you played this well.
Call flop to reevaluate strength of your hand.
Turn bet is quite a lot but you have outs to call against any hand EXCEPT a set and maybe AK. But you are ahead of many hands here.
