You could probably raise AQ from that postion, and I would be hesitant to call such aggression with only one pair, although it worked out for you. Was this player generally aggressive, surely you had some basis to play this hand the way you did?

I intentionally did not mention any type of read I could have had on him (although I did, I'll allow for some more people to comment, if they don't, I'll post the note that I had on him which could help justify/unjustify my play) - please pretend that you know nothing about this player, that's what I wanted to get feedback on, on that assumption.
