have him on A/Q or TT on the flop/turn. my plan is to try to break the chop or steal the pot. i wanted to see if a straight card came or, more specifically, the flush hit so i could take it down. |

Heh $50nl is the perfect place to learn to bluff because everyones always folding anyway .
I wouldn't call the preflop raise here, yeah I know it's only a minraise but miniraise = big hand at $50nl. You're also pretty early position and who knows what's happening after you, if a few more people call (likely with the miniraise) it's going to be hard to play the hand from that position. |
i completely disagree, in every possible way |

Heh ok. You agree with the preflop call?
I'm pretty interested to know why you disagree so much Fira?
This was basically my thinking through 50nl, just stay out of stetchy situations. |

first of all, from my (and friends) experience, .25/.5 is callfest. also, minraising with monsters has almost no correlation with limits at all |

I didn't find many people minirasing with trash like you might get at lower levels at 50nl, if someone miniraised I treated it like a normal sized raise (in terms of hands strength), and I wouldn't call AQo here to a normal raise. I think it's better to stay out of this type of situation in general.
Anyway Im more interested in why you disagree with this than the first bit:

I don't get this hand at all preflop to river. Seems like a good way to lose money ?? |
