you waited for the turn card to come to make him fold aces? how did you know he had aces?

you forget that you reraised preflop... QJ doesn't do that, and you can't fault a station for being a station

if you always go in with the worst hand youll never have a bad beat story

and how can you put him on AA when he smooth calls preflop... it's a terrible play by him but it's one advantage is deception, you can't possibly put him on AA

thats nl5/10/25 donkey aces 101

I just wasnt deep enough to make turn bet big enough for him to fold

what about qq jj 99 qj q9 j9 aq aj ah9 or 2 hearts? they seem much more reasonable. and if you had him on aces, you should have folded flop (50/50 he had Ah as well) no way he's folding turn

but JJ and QQ do (in my range//sometimes to find where im at)

so if the donk would think about it for a second, the only thing he beats is KK, and he doesnt have a redraw (whereas KK prob does)

it's not a terrible play, i do it all the time. you know they have aa kk or qq, and if the flop doesn't flop k or q, you can usually build a huge pot out of it with overpair vs overpair. basically, you know their hand but they have no idea what your hand is, which makes the play almost flawless

if u knew he had aces, then fold it asap. (but be very sure of it)

else, just dont hesitate and go auto allin, most people suck too much at NL25, so that the amount u pay them off are heavily outweighted by the amount they pay u off.
(of course if u manage to get a read, follow it, but be very sure when u decide to fold overpair at NL25)

there is a light at the end of the tunnel... (but sometimes the tunnel is long and deep as hell)

I don't get why you are whinging - you went in with the worst hand - you bet at a scary board with no heart and you were reraised to hell by the sly flat call pf - no one else is gonna do that except people that have your kings beat.

I can't believe how many times i see people on 25NL lose their stacks with kings even with an ace high flop - it's just ridiculous!
