You can also check-raise the river since you have the nuts : if he was drawing he will fold your river bet, but if you check he might give it a shot hoping you missed a draw or overplayed. And all in all if he had a made hand that could call a pot bet on turn and isn't that type of guy who never value bets rivers, then you'll get usually at least as much money by check raising river than with a pb (especially if he bets a bit strong and you make a fishy all in reraise after hesitation).. sometimes he'll check even if being an agressive player, but that s life. I'd try the check raise river with nuts at least 50% of the time, unless against a really passive-weak player.
