really inyteresting hand. Do you have any reads on how he bets big hands on the flop and how fast did he decide to call the turn? I really think his range on the turn when he calls is AQ AK and broadway hearts. I actually said when I looked over the hand, that Ribbens can show up with big hearts here alot. Not sure what the best line is if you put him on AQ AK and broadway hearts cards.
Will he bet the river with AQ if you check, will he bet call AK if you checkraise? Unless he would do this I think you should go for a smaller bet on the river and fold to a shove, since there isnt really that much he will peel the turn that is complete air, which he could turn into a bluff. |

my thought process:
ok ribbens bet size tends to reflect his hands strength. also he has been 3betting me a ton this session. on the flop i felt like his most likely hands were pairs that weren't better than jx or aq/ak
after he calls the turn he proly has some weird pair that won't pay off any river bet, or like AQ/AK/A7/A5, or a draw
so i check/raised AI on riv cuz i felt like he would bet/call all his two pair hands and and AK maybe even AQ
looking back though i think i shoulda just betfolded, he isnt good enough to turn a made hand into a bluff IMO here, and he might check behind ax or something here. actually the more i think about the more i think my cr was retarded |
