i have a rough idea of why he might call here but cant really put it into words cuz i dont know enough about omaha to do so, particularly cuz im bad at picturing hand ranges in omaha..
like i dont know if 45JTccss is a flip preflop (but i suspect it is) and how much of an edge your hand or their hand has over it also obv which of those types of hands this guy does this with
guess u are thinking he does this here mostly with like 5569ccsd hands and this is just a cooler? idk would love to hear your thoughts |

its pretty simple actually...his range here is AA always and he pushes all flops w/ his stack size. my hand is strong vs AA unless both of my flush outs are dead. as u can see, even w/ 1 flush out dominated i still have 40% equity pf. also if i hit a set/flush/straight/2p on the flop, im far ahead of him and hes pushing neway. that way im getting implied odds on my call and i can call. |

correct me if I am wrong,
I can understand and agree pf,
but as you say his range is always AA, so you know he has trips on the flop and you have the nut flush draw and runner runner quads.
As the calculator say, your odds are approximately 10: 3
you pot odds are appr 5500/1900 = 8.7:3
so isnt your post flop play -EV? |
