Is this okay ?
I had a read that he is very tight preflop but when calling hes doing it from BB alot and doesnt like the idea to give away his blinds to steal attempts .
I was about 50 % thinking that he calls the preflop raise
and i was about 80% sure hed make a /bet reraise there without having a hand .
so how should i play this ?
i mean check /fold flop seems a bit weak knowing he is trying to get the pot anyways on flop
would check / raise be better
than a 3 bet.
i made a 3bet cause i thought hed give me more credit and i was afraid hed 3 bet me if i only c/r cause he is agressive on flop even with nothing. ( not totally stupid though cause he has almost no agression on turn and river)
and which bet sizes ?

actually very tight preflop is not 100 % true.
I meant he plays many hands from the blinds but isnt playing too much in other positions.
my question is more is this a bad play on this board in this situation knowing hed try to steal the flop but isnt a total monkey ( meaning he will probably fold if he hasnt a K here) |

well fold preflop is ofc an option
but i dondt think it is a must here ?
I just pay 30 cents and i have a 40 % chance he folds preflop
and another about 60% + chance to get the pot on the flop after some action cause he is agressive flop with nothing but not overagressive. ( saw him raise 22 into a AQ9 flop in the same situation and then check down till river to lose to A5)
SO i thought preflop raise is okay here
furthermore 97s can be a decent suckout hand |
