this was the guy's 2nd hand at the table, new ppl usually play tight as far as i see (other than maniacs). he said afterward he had QQ and was shocked i folded AA. was he telling the truth? thoughts? |

I know it's hard to learn and "get better" with this mentality, but at these limits, I always call in situations like this. The preflop raise we big enough ;o |

you played the hand weak by flat calling on the flop and checking the turn, which means he could much more likely be inclined to believe you have a flush draw or just AK hi or some shit, which gives him incentive to push allin...actually he doesn't have to think anything...
considering how much you disguised your hand you absolutely MUST call here, he could have 77-1010, or a silly flush draw, or 67...soo many things you are beating plus considering your pot odds impossible to fold

at first i thought by flat calling the flop you were trapping him i was shocked when you folded. |
