i believe it.
he's a good player.
although i do bully him a TON, but i think he has AA KK here usually, however, he probably wouldnt lie, no reason to |

I think you see AA here pretty often. Nice fold. |

Morti is a good player, yeah.
But the way he overbet the pot and then told you he had trips... Doesn't seem like he wants to extract value.
Not saying this is a bad fold, but I think there might be a possibility this was a bluff. |

The only type of bluff I see in this situation would be AK or AQ suited in diamonds... which is not in very bad shape at all vs JJ... and to put in a couple hundred more knowing that at best your up against a semi-bluff from these hands and thats your like slightly more than a 60/40 favorite kinda doesn't out weight the possibility that your beat and dead to 2 outs... which would be a terrible place to put in your cash.
Good fold |

I'm not saying a bluff is likely, but I don't think you should totally rule it out. Especially since he was willing to say what he had.
BigBalls makes a lot of big laydowns and is not particularly aggressive. If you noticed this I think if you have a set here you'd like to leave less fold equity. He could very well have a set here, but I wouldn't be that surprised if this was a bluff (then again I don't know if Morti is capable of such moves). |

actually, i think a bluff is somewhat likely, but for a different reason than you think
i was reraising a decent amount preflop, raising probably 15% of hands other than that. i play pretty aggressive at 6max, and ive been bullying him a fair amount (over the course of 100 hands with him i probably reraise him preflop 6 times, won 3 preflop won 2 with continuation bets, this was the other). he may have picked a spot and figured i had nothing.
however, im pretty sure he has AA or KK or 77/66 here most of the time |
