How to play this hand? Seems like everytime I get it, it's 3 choices, lose big, tie, win little. How can I know about his hand in this situation, thanks ! (Was sure he had trips or AK too :/)

re-raise preflop. on the flop make it $4-$5 and call if he push.
goin broke with top 2 on the flop is totally standard.
