sick setup but his check on the flop could've saved you money in this hand. I don't know the player but heres my reasoning

he checks behind on a dry A flop, his range is like air, 88/AA trapping or AQ/AK trying to get some value on the turn while he doesn't want to get check/raised on the flop and face a big decision on the turn in a deepstacked pot.Maybe a 8X hand as well. Once he raises that turn i dont like your re-raise because you make him fold his air (which wasnt that likely but still is a possiblity) and you also scare AQ/AK away, an 8 might call but that's it. I'd rather just call the turn. He's going to value bet the river anyways so i'd rather bet/fold or check/call
