ive been thinking about this hand for a little while now
preflop/flop are straightforward

anyone fold the turn? he bet it kind of weak, could easily have 78 here. could also have an overpair. im getting a little over 3:1 in position, but he may have a boat already. i dont know, at the time after i called i said to myself WHY DID I DO THAT then figured i couldnt fold the river if i hit because whats the point of calling on a draw then folding when the draw hits. im fine with the river call getting over 3:1, but the turn call is still bothering me. is it easy to fold here?

well your river play kinda answer your own question, if you are not going to put the money in if you hit why chase at all? fold when that board paired

i see no problem with this at all...on turn he could have any overpair, river he could be block betting or representing flush or even have a lower flush. i would go broke here more often than not.

I think i would have called the turn here also since he bet so small.. your J and T still might be outs, as he could be doing this with a small PP or A9 even though its kinda unlikely.. I'd call turn and re-evaluate on river, but I don't think folding that river is easy.

I'd let it go on the turn or reraise the flop, but meh.

TERRIBLE call on turn. you were drawing absolutely deadd. he gave you odds to call because he alrdy had the nuts. if he didnt, he would bet more and if you called then and hit river you would not get paid off. easy fold on turn.

Just do whats right

I really love how your opponent played this. Sucked maximum value from your hand. I dun know if the turn call was all THAT terrible, but you kinda get the hint that your screwed when he bets the river like that when the spade hits.

Sure it's easy to say that his turn call was "terrible" when you see that he's drawing dead there. His turn bet was weak, and BigBalls is sitting there with 1 card to come and 3:1 odds with a flush draw. I don't know if that fold is as "easy" as people are making it out to be.

Either way, it was well played by your opponent for making sure he didn't lose you on the turn or river.
