OK so i probably shouldn't have checked the turn (for pot control) but his river bet smelt like he missed his c/r on the turn

Verbloten   Australia. Nov 20 2007 05:59. Posts 1889 lol - well 1 thing is I didn't like the A on the river - if it was any other card under Q i prob woulda called - except maybe a second 9. I woulda called the river A though if he had bet a bit less - but I thought he virtually potted the river and ppl often do that when they miss their c/r on the turn. The only draw on the flop was completed on the turn so the only thing i beat is the bluff pretty much because TT/JJ even KK is probably checking for cheap showdown on this river?
