calling probably would've been better because since he's a shortstack he could call the reraise with a medium hand like AJ/AQ and a $6 raise isn't giving anyone set odds, he would probably feel obligated to call because the guy was so short and you just flat call then you could've sucked him on the flop but obviously that flop was dry as hell for anything other than aces so yeah
