I think this is ok. He is shortstacked so what the hell, theres a reasonable chance you have him dominated

what wackass site is this nigga?

Although bare in mind that shortstacks are generally more inclined to put their money in with an inferior hand with a call. Here he is pushing so you should atleast consider folding.

there is a fact that he is shortsatck making me want to fold because no implied odds and the such.
On the other hand, being short stack and raising 2BB means he may do other stupid things... such as making this play with hands like AQ, or fold my raise, or whatever. Unfortunately had no read on him at all.

lol you should never push AK pf vs a fullstack. And wtf are you talking about, implied odds on a pf push?

shortstack - autopush with AKs

guignol   France. May 21 2006 10:29. Posts 249

- he is not fullstack
- against a full stack I would consider flat calling his reraise, and get implied odds for the flush

(I did not really push, he has $2 left so pushing or calling was practically the same)

Thats the fact that should make you wanna push. Dont understand your reasoning at all.

the reasonning is : postflop, hands such as AKs tend to know very well where they stand : either there is an Ace or king, or two spades, and you are in good shape - or there is not. TT is harder. the cast that your opponent wont know as much as you do who leads, is the context of implied odds. so well shart stack => fish => maybe I have better hand, but shortstack => no postflop play => ssad because I think AKs is rather easy to play postflop.

Well... I guess I ll take the full 14s next time again.
