fuck dude you played this kinda badly though....
They didn't really give you much chance to defend your hand though - i don't know if that is standard at this limit - but everytime i go to play 5NL i always raise at least 20-30 preflop... If standard raise that reduces the field if 6c then OK.. keep with it - otherwise raise to 10 or something just to ensure you are not playing multiway pot.
On the flop - you are donkbet into - but it's pot sized - so it's not exactly donkbet - the guy has a hand that he is not worried about you or the fact that there is also another guy left to act. This is usually a sign of big strength - he's confident enough to bet oop, pot sized, with 2 ppl left to act (including the original raiser). if there is ever a time to worry about your AA - its right now.
With that in mind - a min raise is totally the wrong thing to do. But since you did min raise him - definately fold when he raises again.
What you should have done was raise to about $1 or $1.20 and fold to a shove. (which is quite hard because you are not very deep - always buyin full). If you did buy in full he would be quite short too which means effectively you are - so same result) Maybe you can't fold to a shove... maybe this is just gay.
So i guess my message is the pot sized donkbet is a sign of extreme strength assuming you have a good image - so beware of one pair hands and don't ever fucking min raise with one pair in this situation. Maybe raise more pre. Hope i helped
Yeah well, actually the 8-10¢ preflop is what Loco told me to do.
In the article for begginner thats also what they suggest
Usually at this stakes, people just raise a lot for no reason, so i did not really mind of that pot bet :/
Anyway thx for your tip, appreciate it !

OK but you will find that they don't bet into multiple players including the preflop raiser unless they have a very strong hand (this is univeral - not just 5NL)
