How was this? As he was preflop aggro I felt checking then a big reraise was the best way of playing the flop. Intended to lead after that. Not subtle but it works. |

it would be a big reraise if it was just a bet and no call, but with the call, you need to raise bigger to deny their pot odds.
granted, he wasn't supposed to call there with the gutshot even with implied odds, but a good sized raise would be like. 2.40, and then you can bet turn push any river, basically |

his reraise on the flop is fine, bad players get sucked in this way. The flop is very dry. You guys talk like if you want people with inside street draws / Q5s to fold. |

yeh you don't wanna scare ppl off here - it's a cooler. I'm not sure how much i would have re raised but it woulda been in this ballpark - might have been 1.60 instead - but that's not much different. Just bad luck mate |
