I kind of butchered this. I wanted to check flop to control the pot and induce a bluff but then on the river I just thought. Screw it, he's getting great odds to call so lets value shove.

You want to pot-control with the holy nuts? I dunno who that is of course, but generally if you flop TPTK with AK I'd consider it the nuts.

well u can check flop to induce a bet and balance ur checking range but not for "pot control"
