Assuming your more or less turning your hand into a bluff on the river, why not Jam the turn?
Looking at it from my not as good as you at Omaha perspective I hate getting stuck with a paired board/filled up FD on the river and not knowing which one they were chasing for. Unless you intend to use position to bluff-win otherwise split-pots where you both have the 8 high straight unimproved? |

I'm folding most rivers, but against this villian i don't think he will bluff the river that often when i call, and i think i have the best hand on the turn too often. If the river is a spade and he checks, i might turn my hand into a bluff to fold out splits, but i think my straight is good here a fair amount, and plus i figured if i pair up im good.
If i shove turn, i think hes folding most hands except huge draws like straight/set/flush hands |
