hmmm can you explain your thought process behind raising the turn? it seems your hand has good show-down value, so do you do it as protection from over-cards? What do you do if he calls and river is a diamond? What if river is K or A? |

My process is: "ok, wtf am I in this hand??? nvm... I'll raise!"
Anyway; villian is unknown.
I called flop and it's a dry board so I'm either floating or having 34, a random pair or a queen. Then he bet turn kinda weak which pretty much polarizes his hand into air/weak holdings or monsters that want action. If it's 50/50 I'll be +/-0ev (pretty much) from making this raise and if he happends to look me up it'll be great for my image. It's also very likely in his mind that I can have something like 45s, 56s or something which kills all of his range except QQ and maybe 22 so unless he has a read on me he will probably fold a weakish queen pretty often.
Also, 22 isn't out of the question as my holding either since flop is so dry. |
