yea I understand what you were doing here. It's tough though because as you probably know you were making a play because u felt hey it's about time a made a play, not any other reason. I mean he's raising sb to bb so his most likely hand is actually Ax or maybe like KJ KQ or w/e but the raise on the flop isn't going to show a profit in the long run, ie he's not going to fold A2 here really is he on the flop (not saying whether he should or shouldn't but he probably isn't going to) let alone all the other aces and other hands that are ahead of that.
Now after you're called on the flop just give up, whats he got now that he's going to fold. Yes he could have a flush draw but that means he's raising to 5 bb's with like 95c or j7c or 9tc which is once against possible but not his most likely hand (with many of them being in ok shape too and probs not folding to 8 dollars either).
Nice that you post bad hands too, pm me for any other things you might need.

Edit: Also you have a nice hand for a 3bet preflop and a nice hand to hit a flop. But when the flop comes down you're drawing to the equivelant of half a gutshot (ur 2 outs) just give it up generally. Every good player makes plays with nothing but not when the opponents range is polarised to mainly hands that are beating you and hands that are not folding to a raise and equally when they do you don't show much profit anyway.
poker is soooo much easier when you flop sets
