fold top set here with 4 people pushing? you gotta be joking

you realize that anon was actually the favorite on the flop, strangely enough

KJ 10%
KQs 30%
J8 24%

plus he clearly had odds, id call this any day of the week

thats right but thats more against then for you.
So you still have to hit. and if you don't hit the turn its.
TT 25.0%
KJ 10.0%
KQs 20.0%
J8 45.0%
it changes a lot you can say he had the msot chance to win on the flop but you do need to hit. so if you understand it just like a flush draw for him. and would you go all-in on a flush draw on the flop with so many players?

editot is big so its callable

More, your analysis is based solely on the results. there is NOT AN OLD GRANNY TITTY'S CHANCE IN HELL that you or any of us would or SHOULD fold top set against that many players. at these micro stakes or at any stakes.

just callable? at what point could he have folded anyways? anon got his chips in on the flop which is the right play.

right... you just answered your own question with your edit

with all that money going in on the flop the turn odds are irrelevant

also, it's not like a flush draw because if he hits its almost guaranteed he takes it, with flush draw you can hit and still lose

Even though he had the best hand out of those 4, he's still only 36% chance of winning the pot vs those 3 hands.

Therefore he's still a big underdog, no? This needs some explaining for me!

4 people in, he puts in 1/4th of the total pot (roughly), and he has a 36% chance of winning. That's why it's +EV to push the flop.
