I didn't want to checkraise the flop, fearing it might scare an overpair into folding later in the hand. How many of you make this preflop call? I don't always call raises with sc's, but it just felt right this time.

that's a big preflop call. going on it "feeling right" probably isn't a good idea

sure it worked out this time but over the long run calling 6x even in position with JTs at these limits isnt worth it

i disagree, JTs on the button with at least 3 players should be +EV. good fold equity if you dont hit and great implied odds if you do.

If more people called the raise, I totally agree that it's a good PF call. In this case though, I put him on a high pair with the large pf raise, and the stacks were deep enough to "maybe" warrant a call. If I hit big, I win big, if I miss, I fold and lose $3. Regardless of the # of players, the implied odds are still pretty big. Heads up though, I usually fold, but I was having a good day so i gave it a shot.

Re: "titans still suck tho"....agreed

eh, i disagree

if you put him on big pair, what flops hit you big?

2 pair, flush, trips. 2 pair and trips are scary boards for a big pair and he wont pay you off all the time. flush is obvious hand. straight could work if he hits trips, but then he has big redraw. id personally prefer calling with 67s than JTs here, it's better when the board is less scary.

not to mention 5 out of 6 flops you completely miss
