I'd call if he pushed the turn but only because the flop had two diamonds as well as the 89 connector, if he had TJ for instance he would have hit the J and have the openended giving him 14 outs, which, depending on his play even on the turn he might push, infact a push would indicate such a hand more than his value bet...
