Why do you say "AK" ? It is not a superfold..

because i think he luckboxed the queen but my question is about pot control: do i check behind on the turn to control pot size or because of this board is it way too likely that he's drawing and i need to make him pay?
i really think that he flopped the nuts though from the way he played it and how fast he pushed, i don't think KQ would be a snap push there and he would probably have been more aggressive on earlier streets. KJ i suppose is also possible but much less likely to call preflop and play so weakly until the river |

hes a short stack, i would personally push all his chips in the turn overbeting, its a heavy drawing board, if he had QJ well too bad, thats how i would play it tho. |

yeah i think you're right i think pushing the turn is a more solid play considering how much he had left
when i made the turnbet it was originally designed to make totally committed if he was going to push there so i wouldn't have to really make much of a decision and i was kind of hoping he'd do that with any king there considering how much left he had on the river to not really do anything, he just happened to hit one of the 8 death cards on the river at which point nothing i was ahead of on any street i still have beat, and no way he pushes a busted flush there because he knows he has no real fold equity against an average player.
if 2d hit on the river instead i would probably call |
