aces of course, its not a big reraise, look at it, its 10 more for me to call a 40 dollar pot and his stack is big enough for set odds.
my problem was not letting it go on the flop, even tho i had 43% to win this hand, i could have been drawing to 2 outs.

folding to a minraise preflop is not an option. fold flop would be good tho

im not saying that u didnt have odds for it. but fold pre flop is decent and at least folding on flop with no sett.. u dont even know if your draw is good...

sorry your right, fold flop, didnt realize how small he reraised you preflop...those reraises just scream AA tho, i dont think a good player does this without aa/kk...its hard to fold kk here, but i really thiink his preflop action is a huge sign he has AA

yea, when i called his push i knew i was gambling. there was a 5% chance he had someshitpair of course but that's insignificant.
ah well, can't go back in time to erase the mistake now. ;(

it went quite well actually - id probably stack him with ease if i hit the k and i was 43% this time around.

the only problem here is the Ac and him having it.
maybe this should go in the hand discussion or something - i'd like to know how higherstake players would play this.

yeah he could have Ac...do you think he would play this so fast tho without the Ac?

artpoker_yo   . Jun 05 2006 10:19. Posts 1241

hed be inclined to play it faster without the Ac im sure, he would be eager to get his money in on the flop whereas Ac has no fear so "might" slowplay and just call
