this call is completely break even, probably less than break even because he doesn't have AA/KK here and won't get stacked 90% of the time that you hit your set. the call is about as smart as betting $4 that a coinflip will land on heads. sure, you're not getting bad odds. but there's no point to it, you won't make money in the long run, you're only going to increase variance.
it's like deciding between betting $4 that a coinflip will land on heads or betting .50 that it will not land on tails twice. one is break even and perfectly justified, the other makes money in the long run even though it will make money slower. |

I think its a -ev call, kinda rare fullstacked people get involved deep vs sets, 10% rule is ok but be inclined to use it more as further it gets to like 5% imo. |
