haha tihs entire hand played out exactly as i thoughtit would . i was like ok so hes gonna isolate the limpers and ima 3bet (we had a lot of history) then on flop im like ok check/shortstack will shove and he'll call or isolate. SNAPcall

I don't get the flop check? I guess you're thinking you're not getting called by worse enough, but you might get them to overvalue hands you beat by checking?

flop check is pretty standard imo...
you represent AK by checking and shortstacks will stab with any piece of the board

basically. i figured to always have the best hand vs the halfstack, and played out the situation in my head, that if the shorty shoves and he shoved i would still happily get it in. therefore before hand i already knew a check would be profitable with the shorty in the mid and make the hand extremely easy for me to play also. as it doesn't matter what happens i feel one of them is always betting the flop so it becomes pretty straight forward shipit for me with the read i had on the halfstacked guy
