Ok so tell me the theory behind this. Obviously the guy put you on a steal and tried to take the pot from you preflop.

Did you have a good read or...? Normally I find when people horribly overbet pots they're trying to a)protect a weak hand or b)steal the pot by forcing you to fold your draw/middle pair, but of course this doesn't always happen. I don't know if I could have made this call with JKo!

Please explain!

guy was a fish, he repeatedly went all in with subpar hands. Naz posted a few other hand histories with this guy, so you'll understand why once you see the others.

well since he was going to call the short stack anyways, the smart move comes when naz is re-raising all in to force philly to fold. by doing so naz chances of winning the pot improved. even though he catched runner runner to make the stright, if philly was in he could have ended up with a flush or a better hand. naz could have also catched another K to improve to a better 2pair.
