Was kinda hard to tell where i was in this hand on the flop and turn thats why i raised and bet small because i thought i most likely had the best hand but didnt want to play a big pot with sucha a weak hand on the flop and turn. Any Suggestions or did i play it ok? |

if you want to keep the pot small then call the flop, check/call the turn and river. i think you're right when he raising your flop bet that you want to keep the pot small because the only reasonable hand that you beat is QJ and it's not very often that you'll get a PSB raised by QJ, which is why when you make 3 queens on the river you can't really frontbet when you make trips because it doesn't change where you are in the hand, unless he has bottom 2 in which case he won't put any more money in on the river. i really hate this line of reraising the flop with TP2K and then throwing out a horrible blocking bet on the turn, it's pretty unlikely that you get called down by a worse hand playing like this |

Yea I agree, this guy was just a huge fish, i was sitting with him for a while. On the flop i reraised trying to cheaply find out where I was in the hand, if he would have come over the top i would have quickly folded. I just didn't want him betting big on the turn and pushing me out if i had the best hand. |

reraising is not cheap, and when he calls your reraise you assume you're ahead (?)
your logic seems to kind of conflict |

I was trying to say that my reraise on the flop is probabally cheaper then what he would have bet if i just called the flop and checked the turn. I bet the turn real cheap to see if he raises me, and if he does i fold and if he doesnt i think i'm most likely ahead. I would play this hand differently against most other players. |
