what im saying is - your 99 has showdown value here, by betting turn you're not getting called by a worse hand so you're deciding to turn your hand into a bluff
if u had 67s for example, it wouldn't be bad to bet really although i'd probably still check it, but it wouldn't be too bad because 67s doesnt have showdown value. |

i dont think its worth it because i mean it is possible he has like JT i guess and u still have some showdown value but u cant bet and expect a fold i dont think
