Anyone think this is bad?

i did something very similar recently, in fact i'm gonna search the HH (here) . i thought that was bad for the exact same reasons i think this is bad. it's just too tough to sell a good hand by the time the river comes; giving a free card on a K563 board makes no sense. very few people fold river here. i dunno about your particular game flow with villain but if game conditions are normal its kinda bad

I think almost any pair between QQ and 77 is going to call you after they call the flop. I tihnk this is bad. You need more overcards or more hands you can reasonably represent that beat him.

i think if ur going to bluff, better to do it on the turn cuz once turn went check check, hes calling most rivers up to pot size bet, so ur FE dramatically decreases
however if u bet on the turn, theres still a river bet he will be scared of

wut wut wut

That and you'd double barrel AK and KQ as well. It's really really hard for you to rep a K with a b/c/b line.

If I'm bluffing here I prefer bet-bet

Mmm. I think this hand highlights a weakness of my game in general. I'll often take bet / check / bet lines with a K here because I don't feel like I'm getting called by worse [other than KQ / KJ] on the turn, and I like to give my opponents a chance to bluff. Part of the reason why I don't think I'll get called by worse, though, is because I'm not bluffing the turn enough...

The problem with the former line is that it lets my opponent potentially see all five cards in position without having a strong read on his holding.
