if poker is dangerous to them i would rank sports betting as a Kodiak grizzly bear who smells blood after you just threw a javelin into his cub - RaiNKhAN

Yea, the point with this hand, is I've been thinking, if the pots say 400 i've been betting like 285 into instead of like 370 even though he might well call the 370 (but almost def call the 285). Even though it might be +$ev losing a sizeable pot really tilts people and makes the game easy thereafter.
I mean I'm assuming his hand was like 98 here which he might actually fold on the river to a 370 bet like 20% of the time maybe but also theres the possible 5's and 66 88 which may pay off a smaller bet. And although you given away that you weren't bluffing in this hand for a cheaper price (which is the + you get from him folding to a 370 bet on the river he might think you're bluffing still), you throw him off his game sooo much more by simply taking his money. And thats where the real money is in heads up, when people are on tilt.
I mean the main reason for this size bet is I didn't really think he had a 9 I think he had some other kind of pair cos he was on donkey tilt mode at this time. |

overbet shove river yo! looks real fishy and if he tilts he prob calls that just as much as 245 also people always think you have nuts or air when you do that so they call down lighter and it's great to do with a hand that's slightly better than their bluff catchers |

One day good. One day bad. And some days, even hope

I know what you mean jamie, just it felt like he wouldn't be calling the shove here with the weak nines and 88-66. |
